# Champagny en Vanoise

On the other side of the chain of peaks that form the lower edge of the high altitude resorts of La Plagne is the southernmost resort of the Paradiski ski complex: Champagny-en-Vanoise. Thanks to its hidden location, the authentic ski area at an altitude of 1,250 metres is considered a real secret recommendation of the French Alps. On the one hand, skiers in Champagny-en-Vanoise appreciate the pleasant atmosphere of the small winter sports site where traditional houses are clustered around the 17th century baroque church. On the other hand, the primitive ski area attracts with its winter sports offer. In Champagny-en-Vanoise, skiers not only have direct access to the ski resorts of La Plagne and Paradiski with 225 and 425 kilometres of pistes. The valley of Champagny-le-Haut, 5 kilometres away from the ski resort, is additionally a real paradise for many other winter activities. As the southern flank of the La Plagne ski resort, Champagny has one thing in particular to offer: plenty of sunshine. Together with the optimal snow conditions of the Bellecôte glacier, skiers can enjoy the best conditions for winter sports here.
