# Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales is a port city on the Señoret Channel in southern Chile's Patagonia. It is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park to the northwest and the port for boats that travel the fjords of Patagonia. The Municipal History Museum in the center of town displays artifacts from the indigenous peoples of the region. To the north is the vast Mylodon Cave, once home to this prehistoric sloth-like species.
