# Alleghe

Alleghe is a small Ladin village at the foot of Mount Civetta 3218 m, the second highest mountain after the Marmolada 3343 m . In the centre of the valley a beautiful natural alpine lake was formed 300 years ago. Summer tourist destination for mountaineers and hikers between the mountain huts of the Munich Venedig and the Alta Via 1 Dolomites, paradise for freeriders and lovers of the Giro d' Italia routes. In winter, skiers and snowboarders on the world's largest ski area Dolomiti Superski are regulars from November to April on more than 80 km of slopes. Only 2 hours from Venice.
