# Salt Lake City

Salt Lake's urban landscape is changing exponentially, and the fruits of this transformation can be enjoyed more and more every day. The Natural History Museum of Utah houses world-class exhibits in a beautiful building at the foot of the mountains. The open-air City Creek Shopping Center has more than 90 shops and restaurants and two fully retractable roofs, ensuring a year-round climate-controlled environment. Other highlights include the amazing Salt Lake Public Library, the Leonardo Science and Culture Museum, and the Rio Tinto Stadium, home of the Real Salt Lake football team. The Eccles Theater performing arts centre opened on Main Street in 2016.
Utah is a state famous for natural wonders of all kinds, from towering desert peaks to lush alpine forests. There are five wilderness parks within a five-hour drive, and Salt Lake is the perfect place to plan adventures and then relax. Even closer you can find 11 world-class ski resorts, a distinction that earned Salt Lake the nickname ‘Ski City’ so you can spend the day skiing, then hit the symphony and, at night, visit a club or the hotel bar.
