# Keystone

Keystone is one of Colorado's most popular ski resorts, famous for its friendly atmosphere and excellent entertainment facilities for the whole family. After exploring the resort's various slopes, visit the area shops, go skating or tour the huge snow fort on the mountain.
The Keystone ski area has 117 trails with a vertical drop of 953 metres (3,128 ft). Ski the trails on the 1,274 hectares (3,148 acres) of three neighbouring peaks: Dercum, North Peak and Outback Mountains. Beginner skiers will enjoy several easy runs, while more experienced skiers will have fun on the steep slopes of Outback, where the national ski team trains.
Visit the River Run area, located near the base of the River Run cable car. Located in the heart of the Keystone resort, this is the perfect after-ski spot. Explore River Run's sophisticated shops and boutiques where you'll find everything from jewellery to designer ski wear. The Mountain House area is popular with families, while Lakeside Village offers a more relaxed atmosphere and splendid views of the water.

Ride the River Run cable car to the top of Dercum Mountain and slide down the Adventure Point snow slide park. Slide during the day or on the illuminated track at night, using the lifts to reach the top of the hill. The snow slide remains open through the summer.
