# Tilcara

Tilcara is a city in the province of Jujuy, in northern Argentina. It is located in the spectacular mountain valley Quebrada de Humahuaca. Just outside the city are the partially reconstructed remains of Pucará de Tilcara, a pre-Hispanic fortification on a hill. Nearby are steep ravines, such as the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat). In town is the Dr. Eduardo Casanova Archaeological Museum, with Inca relics.
