# Val d’Allos-La Foux

The ski-village Val d’Allos-La Foux is situated at an altitude of 1800 meters in the skiing area „Espace Lumière“ in the middle of the national park Mercantour, which is particularly treasured by families. Besides a pleasant climate with many hours of sunlight, Val d’Allos-La Foux also offers the homely flair of a traditional ski-resort. Every building in the small resort corresponds to the regional typical design with plenty of wood and stone and forms the perfect backdrop for a relaxed skiing holiday with a cosy atmosphere. Furthermore, the childcare and leisure facilities for children, parents and the whole family leave nothing to be desired, which is why Val d’Allos has also received the label „Famille Plus Montagne.“

Around 10 kilometers from the ski-resort Val d’Allos-La Foux there is also the ski-village Val d’Allos-Le Seignus at an altitude of 1500 meters and the original place of the d’Allos village. Both neighbouring resorts, which likewise present themselves in the authentic style, are connected to one another with a gondola lift. A small private ski-area with around 50 kilometers of pistes is available from Val d’Allos-Le Seignus. A regular shuttlebus travels to Val d’Allos-La Foux and back.
