# La Junta

Cochrane and its surroundings present landscapes as beautiful as they are rugged. One of its main attractions is the Tamango National Reserve, the only place where you can see a population of huemul deer up close. In addition to Lake Cochrane, which on the Argentine side is called Lake Pueyrredón, you can visit the Baker and Nef river falls, the North ice fields and Mount San Lorenzo, with its eternal snow.
