# Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek Ski Resort is located near the town of Avon, Colorado. Founded by Earl Eaton in 1950, this exclusive ski resort is now managed by Vail Resorts.
Beaver Creek is an intimate and luxurious resort with an alpine-style charm in a secluded mountain valley. Its award-winning design is evident in every corner of the resort, from the cosy hotels and flats to the exquisite cuisine. It offers possibly the best all-round customer service in the world.
The resorts are located within walking distance of each other, in the heart of the Rockies, and all of them can be accessed by an interchangeable ski pass called ‘The Colorado Ticket’. Finally, the network of public and private transport between the different resorts facilitates access to all of them.
Beaver Creek is located in the Rocky Mountains, 14 kilometres west of Vail. The resort is a 2-hour drive from Denver, so you can fly into Denver International Airport or Vail Eagle County Airport.
Beaver Creek Ski Area is a family-friendly area with more than 149 ski trails and 17 lifts. The Beaver Creek Mountain slopes are connected to the equally groomed Bachelor Gulch slopes, which in turn connect to Arrowhead. The result is a fabulous ski experience with interconnected European-style villages. Head to one of the three terrain parks for snowboarding or take on the challenge of the Stone Creek Chutes, home to the steepest slopes in the resort.
