# Moena

Moena is actually the main village of the entire Val di Fassa located in the heart of the enchanting Dolomites and surrounded by such imposing mountains as the Catinaccio, the Sassolungo, the Monzoni and the Latemar, the village is actually the gateway to the Val di Fassa. The village is located almost in the heart of the "Tre Valli" region, a ski area that includes a total of three valleys, state-of-the-art ski lifts and gondolas and carefully groomed ski runs. In addition to its natural treasures and numerous sports facilities, Moena has much to offer from a cultural point of view as well. The church of San Vigilio with its Gothic tower, the operas of Valentino Rovisi or the small church of Sal Volfango, with an interesting Baroque ceiling, are worth a visit.
