# Morillon

With its typically regional timber-clad houses arranged around the historic 16th century village church of Saint-Christophe with its characteristic angular tower, Morillon is the prototype of a traditional French ski village. If you want to enjoy a relaxing skiing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds, but at the same time do not want to miss out on a wide range of slopes, you have come to the right place. The direct connection to the Grand Massif, one of the largest ski resorts in the French Alps, makes the peaceful and partly car-free ski resort of Morillon the ideal retreat in the middle of a first-class ski region that leaves no wish unfulfilled. For this reason, a modern yet peaceful ski resort has emerged from the small mountain village. The Morillon ski resort was formed from the old village and the hamlets of Les Champs and Le Verney at about 700 metres above sea level, as well as the Morillon 1100 district 400 metres above sea level. The ski resort's direct slopes offer 16 runs with a total of 31 kilometres of slopes which are ideally suited for children, families and beginners.
