# Villa Pehuenia

Villa Pehuenia is a town located in the centre-west of the Argentinean province of Neuquén, at the foot of the Patagonian Andes. It is located in the Neuquén department of Aluminé. It is connected to the rest of the province and the nearby Chilean town of Icalma by provincial routes 12 and 23. The climate is dry, with the four seasons well defined. Summer days are warm, with temperatures ranging between 20 °C and 30 °C, and cold nights with temperatures ranging between 5 °C and 0 °C. In the winter, snow covers the region extensively with temperatures that can easily drop to -20 °C.
