# San Rafael

San Rafael is a city in the semi-arid province of Mendoza in Argentina, which borders Chile by the Andes. The Diamante River, which flows through the city, and the Atuel River to the south allow for whitewater rafting in the summer. Around the city there are famous wine cellars that produce Malbecs and other strains of red wines.
