# Formigal

The urbanisation of Formigal and the village of Panticosa, the gateway to the two sectors, are less than 15 kilometres apart by road.
Formigal has always been considered one of the liveliest resorts in the Pyrenees, both day and night. The joint Aramón Formigal-Panticosa resort, in the Tena Valley (in the heart of the Huesca Pyrenees), boasts the largest snow destination in Spain, with 182 skiable kilometres and 147 slopes of different levels. Its 143 skiable kilometres, spread over four small valleys, are easily accessible by car, with several thousand parking spaces. But there is also a free shuttle bus service that connects the resort, which belongs to the municipality of Sallent de Gállego, with the main accesses to the resort.
