# La Molina

La Molina ski resort is located in Cerdanya, a region in the Catalan Pyrenees. A pioneer in winter sports, it was the first resort in Spain to install a ski lift, in 1943. More than seventy years later, La Molina has become a modern and innovative resort with a wide range of sports and leisure activities to satisfy everyone's tastes. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 68 km of skiable slopes divided into 63 slopes for all levels. The maximum altitude of this magnificent Catalan resort is 2,445 m and the minimum altitude is 1,700 m. La Molina in the heights offers views that combine the forest with the bare mountains. If you are a beginner and want to learn how to glide over the snow, this Catalan resort has 13 ski and snowboard schools. And if you're more experienced, there are professionals who can teach you freestyle and telemark techniques. Once you have acquired the basics, dare to take on the 18 green slopes and 19 blue slopes. You'll find them in the Pista Llarga, Trampolí and Coll de Pal sectors, which are very wide and you won't find it difficult to go down them.
