# Malargüe

Malargüe is located 300 km from the provincial capital, Mendoza, 1198 km from the city of Buenos Aires and 303 km from Talca, Chile, a city with which it is connected by the Pehuenche International Pass. It is located at 1475 meters above sea level.
The locality is characterized by the extraordinary amount of spectacular landscapes with attractions of adventure tourism, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, kayaking, speleology safari, thermal spas, gaucho horseback riding, etc. In this department is located the Ski and winter sports center Las Leñas, considered one of the most important in Argentina.
The area of Valle Hermoso is located 95 km from the capital of the department and 21 km from Las Leñas Valley. It is one of the most emblematic landscapes in the region both for its beauty and its archeological richness.
