# Junin de los Andes

Junín de los Andes is an Andean city in Argentina. It is located in northwestern Patagonia, on the Chimehuin River, which has large quantities of trout. It is the access point to some nearby lakes such as Huechulafquen. The Mapuche Museum has archeological objects and discoveries that reflect the native culture. In the southwest is Lanín National Park, known for its araucaria trees and the Lanín volcano, which is covered with ice. Pumas and condors can be seen in the park.
