# Santiago

The city of Santiago, the capital of Chile, along with areas of the Andes Mountains and the Coastal Range. Santiago, located in the central valley, is known for its neoclassical architecture, such as the 18th century Metropolitan Cathedral in the colonial center of the Plaza de Armas. On the outskirts of the city, you can find vineyards with wine from the Maipo Valley. Ski centers, such as Valle Nevado, are located in the Andes.
