# Corvara

Corvara in Badia is a commune and a town in South Tyrol in northern Italy, located about 40 kilometers east of Bolzano and about 70 km northeast of Trento is Corvara in Badia, the most important town of Alta Badia, a renowned ski resort located on the peaks of the Val Badia valley of Bolzano-Bozen. The resort has hosted numerous international ski championships. In addition, the mountainous region boasts numerous charming villages and places far from the typical tourist bustle, such as the church of Santa Croce and the Museo Ladino Ciastel de Tor (the little Ladino museum), which pays homage to the unmistakable Dolomite people and Ladino culture.
