# Warth-Schröcken

Warth is nestled in the Tannberg mountains at 1,500 m elevation. The village has around 170 inhabitants. Warth is one a few Vorarlberg villages that was originally settled by the Walser people in the 14th century. The village’s trails, buildings and stories are a reminder of this past.
For hikers and mountain climbers, the village of Warth is a compelling area. Numerous trails lead to the peaks of the Wartherhorn, Biberkopf and Widderstein mountains, as well as to the picturesque Körbersee lake. The high-elevation village with its spacious ski area and guaranteed snow is beloved by skiers and freeriders. The Auenfeld jet connects the ski area to Lech Zürs am Arlberg, part of the largest contiguous ski area in Austria. Since the winter of 2017, the new village lift brings skiers to the slopes even quicker than ever before.
When it comes to lift tickets, guests in Warth have a choice: There is one ski pass for Warth-Schröcken alone or a 3-valley ski pass for the Bregenzerwald, Große Walsertal, and Lechtal valleys as well as ski areas in Allgäu (Germany). Holders of the 3-valley ski pass can also purchase a discounted Ski-Arlberg ski ticket for individual days. Alternatively, guests in Warth-Schröcken can buy the Ski-Arlberg ski pass, which is valid for the entire Ski-Arlberg area with over 305 km of slopes.
