# Canillo

Canillo is a parish of Andorra, and the first in protocol order. It is made up of the villages and towns of Aldosa, Canillo, El Forn, El Tarter, El Vilar, Els Plans, Incles, Meritxell, Prats, Ransol, Soldeo, Bordes de Envalira, San Pedro, Armiana and Molleres. Its altitude varies between 1400 and 2913 metres above sea level. The climate is cold and dry, and the snow, which covers the peaks and mountains during the winter months, makes it a parish where you can fully enjoy the sun, the snow and the mountains. In Canillo you can also visit Grandvalira, the largest ski resort in Andorra, where snow is guaranteed throughout the season. Despite its tourist vocation, the parish of Canillo still conserves many livestock and agricultural features.
