# Encamp

Encamp is a parish located in Andorra, 1300 metres above sea level. Of the six villages that formerly formed the parish (Encamp, Tremat, Mosquera, Les Bons, Vila and El Pas de la Casa) only the latter two are now separate from the main centre. Vila is located a few kilometres from the main nucleus and El Pas de la Casa is the village on the border with France and the only direct road access (25 km between Encamp and Pas de la Casa). Together with Encamp, Grau Roig, Canillo, El Tarter and Soldeu they form the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, Grandvalira. The river Valira d'Orient, which rises in the glacial lakes of Pessons, crosses the parish.
