# Val di Fiemme

Val di Fiemme is a valley in the province of Trento, northern Italy, in the Dolomite Mountains. It is famous for its ski resort which has hosted the Nordic World Ski Championships three times, 1991, 2003 and 2013.
The Val di Fiemme, with its 50 ski lifts serving 110 km of slopes, 3 snow parks and 2 toboggan runs, is a winter sports paradise, in the wonderful setting of the Latemar massif, where you can also ski at night on the slopes of Cemis and on the Obereggen piste.
But the Val di Fiemme is also a territory of great traditions and mountain culture, with ancestral institutions that oversee its development.
