# Les Saisies

The ski resort Les Saisies is situated at an altitude of 1,650 metres on a plateau between the Val d'Arly and the Beaufortain valley, the beautiful scenery around Les Saisies - including the panoramic view of Mont Blanc - is reason enough to spend your winter holidays there. The high probability of snow in combination with the many hours of sunshine also dazzles many guests in the comfortable Espace Diamant ski area. Les Saisies owes its traditional charm to the chalets and huts in the alpine pastures in typical Savoyard style, reminiscent of the authentic origins of the mountain village. The emblem of the ski area of Les Saisies is undoubtedly the internationally appreciated offer for the lovers of Nordic skiing. Since 1992, the resort has been the venue for cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions, offering cross-country skiing enthusiasts 120 kilometres of slopes. Most of these trails run through the beautiful landscape around Les Saisies and promise a peaceful natural environment. Moreover, the cross-country skiing network of Les Saisies is one of the highest in Europe, at an altitude of 1,650 metres, and therefore has snow from mid-December to the end of April.
