# Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm

Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm is a Dolomite plateau and the largest high-altitude alpine meadow in Europe. Located in the Italian province of Bolzano in South Tyrol, in the Dolomites mountain range, it is a major tourist attraction, especially for skiing and hiking, and you can visit other holiday villages in the surrounding area, such as Compaccio and Fiè allo Sciliar, which offer more skiing options in the Dolomites. You can fly into Austria's Innsbruck Airport, which is 128 kilometres (80 mi) to the north, and travel the rest of the way by car or truck, or take a domestic flight to Bolzano Airport, which is an hour's drive away.
